4OPT. 3

WHAT WE'VE DONE SO FAR:

Alanna Dunne:
The theme of our outfit is communication! I am in a group of three. We are using all forms of communication to construct our outfit for example, parts of old keyboards, envelopes, old phones and used yellow pages. We have completed a lot so far.
First we decided to the corset out of chicken wire and measured/ modelled it to my shape. I was chosen to be the model at the start. I thought I was chosen due to my looks but it was actually due to my lack of height!! Then I helped my group paper mache the corset with newspaper. The top layer is all headings (from old newspapers); showing newspaper is a form of communication. Next we worked on the hat. Once the shape was got using cardboard, we paper mached it using golden pages. We are going to place an old phone on top. I have also worked on the skirt. It is a floor length straight skirt made from old material. I have sewed both sides up using a sewing machine and begun working on the waist. The bottom layer of the skirt will probably be finished in the next week or so. I have also begun to work on cutting and getting ready the keys from keyboards for placing on the skirt, showing that computers/the internet is a form of communication.
The other members in my group have also been working really hard on things such as the peplum (well done Orla its amazing!! ) and the rest of the accessories.
It’s been really fun and exciting working on Junk Kouture project so far. We have lots done but there is still a long way to go! I look forward to finishing my Junk Kouture Outfit!

Chanice Corcoran:
At the beginning of TY we were told we had to take part in Junk Kouture , the task seemed quite daunting at first but once we got in our groups and got stuck in it became enjoyable. Our group chose to make a 'nature' based outfit. We decided to make a skirt out of leaves. We paper pachéd the skirt using chicken wire as our base and stuck leaves on top using PVA glue. We had to dry out the leaves before hand , flattening them in layers with kitchen towel and books which took a very long time.

Rosie Ducey:
We started our Junk Kouture project a few weeks ago. I am in a group with two other girls. We started the paper matte for the skirt and that’s what I had to do. I had to do five layers of paper matte on the back of the skirt, after this had dried the dried out leaves were stuck on with glue. I had to paint the inside of the skirt green to match the colour of the leaves on the outside of the skirt. Then I had to start the paper matte for our top. We are now starting to make the head piece. It is exciting seeing the project coming together.

Lauren Begley:
So far so good on our junk kouture project :D we have done our paper machet bodess and painted it :) its looking so good :D we have bin bags cut out for our skirt in the shape of feathers :) hopefully we'll get working on stapling the 'feathers' onto the base of the skirt this week :) its such a fun project to do and I can't wait to see it all finished :)

Corrie Bowes:
Well then, This year in Art Class we are entering the JunkKoutre competition. Which is basically this really cool competition that you enter by making a dress out of all recycled things! So, the first thing we did was get split into groups. I went into a group with Chanice and Rosie. We then started brainstorming ideas. We had all these really amazing ideas but some of them were just impossible to do! we finally decided to do a Nature Inspired Dress. Our first mission after that was to make the skirt. We all had different ideas on how to do that too but we all decided to make a paper mache and chicken wire skirt and then cover it in leaves for the nature look we were going for. Having decided that it was time for phase one on mission one, actually making the paper mache, with some help from our teachers we PVA  glued lots(and I mean really lots) of old newspapers onto the chicken wire. We had to do the skirt in two different parts so our model would actually be able to get inside it! When then was finished it was time for phase two, the "leaving" of the skirt, which was quite tricky! It was a trial and error beginning, not knowing which leaves would work and how to make them preserve but we got it in the end, we used leaves mostly from Horse Chestnut Trees and dried them inbetween books and them coated them in PVA! After that it was on to mission two, the top, which is still a work in progress. At the beginning we had our heart set on doing some sort of corset thing out of paper mache too but we quickly switched as we saw that many other groups were doing that. So, we decided to try something a bit weird, we got an old t-shirt and the old roll of duct tape(out of the back of my dads van) and wrapped it round and round our model and the t-shirt, it looks quite cool but we aren't sure if we want to keep it that way. For the design on the top we plan to do an owl! We plan on cutting the felt we have left over from our Home Ec. sewing practicals last year and make the owl out of that and then stitch it on! If it all goes to plan it should be good! I'll fill you in on the rest of our progress as the weeks pass, but for now I think that's it! Wish us luck!
Over and Out,
Corrie! :D

Juliette Barnes:
Our Junk Kouture Project is on Children's Play. We have thus far completed the paper mache part of our corset and we're proceding to stick toys etc. onto the piece. It's so exciting to see the thing we've been talking about for the past month acctually come together. I cannot wait for the whole outfit to come together, it feels as though we're only seeing the trailer of a movie...and long-term it could go either way!! More updates soon:-)

Roisin Byrne:
Myself, Emma and Juliette are doing our Junk Kouture project together. Our theme is a child's imagination which we are trying to display on our outfit. We are using toys and other things associated with childhood to decorate our dress. Our dress is in three parts - the skirt, the front and the back of the corset. So far we have made the corset using old magazines for paper mâché. We just started to decorate the front of the corset using cut up jigsaws and bingo balls. Working on the Junk Kouture project has thought me a lot about the advantages and disadvantages of team work. It has thought me to use my imagination and to think outside the box for good ideas.

Fiona Crilly:
Junk Kouture has been our largest project so far. For our junk kouture we are making an outfit with the theme of the "Black Swan". My group's biggest progress is the bodice we have made. We cut out the shape of the bodice with chicken wire. Over the chicken wire we did paper machet. After a few layers of this we painted the  bodice white. Since then we have been cutting up black and white bin bags in the shape of feathers. The white "feathers" we will stick to the bodice and the black to the skirt. We want the skirt to go out puffy at the bottom. We are using a girl's communion hoop from our group. We plan to feed a wire hanger through the end of the skirt at the hem so it creates a circle and so the skirt will go out the way we wanted. This is the progress my group and I have made so far.

Hazel Birmingham:
This year the TY's have to design an entire outfit using recyclable materials, this is called Junk Kouture. So far in Junk Kouture my group have been doing our bodice which is made out of paper mache  .... so far so good ! J . We also have been cutting out black  and white bin bags into feather shapes so we create our black swan theme that we have chosen . Junk couture has been great fun so far , especially since I am the model and I can’t wait to see our black swan outfit come together

Sorcha Dolan:
For our TY Junk Kouture project, I am in a group with my friend, Sinéad. Because there are only two people in our group we are going to have to work a little bit harder than the rest of the groups of three, but that’s okay because I really like our idea for the design of the dress.
Our theme for the dress is a garden theme. We chose this because, I always find old plant pots lying around my garden and I thought that it was a big waste. So I decided to use them in our dress, give them a new lease in life! We are also using an old garden hose in our dress to decorate the bodice, but we still have to bring that into school.
So far we have the bodice completely covered with paper maché and we have started the headdress with paper maché and a layer of dried out leaves. To be honest I am getting really sick of paper maché, we used it for nearly everything so far!
Hopefully we will get the headdress finished and at least get a start on the skirt of the dress and get a garden hose. I can’t wait for the whole thing to start to come together!

Sinead Brangan:
The theme my group have chosen for the junk couture competition this year is gardens/nature.
The tasks that I have been assigned to complete our project has been shaping and fitting the chicken wire to the models body to make the bodice. When the bodice was shaped properly, both of us in the group worked together to paper maché it. When the bodice was finally complete, after many classes of paper mache, we started on the head piece for our outfit.
I shaped the headpiece to look like a leaf and I cut it out with wire cutters. Both of us recently did the paper maché on the headpiece to give it some structure, after the paper maché was dry, we used leaves that we had been drying out at home and started sticking them onto the headpiece with PVA glue.
When the headpiece is finished we have to start thinking about how we are going to construct the skirt with chicken wire. We will be covering the chicken wire in the skirt with some old material.
So far our group is making good progress and we are really excited to see the finished piece. :)

Aisling Cunnife:
It has been around four weeks since we have been working on our Junk
Kouture dress. The theme of our dress is Tea. *Week One * we started
designing l,ooking at magazines ,sketching what type of dress we wanted and
what sort of things we could make the dress from. *Week two* we decided
that our dress was going to be made from reused tea bags. We decided then
that Aoibhinn would be our model so we began shaping the bodice of her
dress. We then placed cardboard and stapled it onto the dress as the bases
for it. However we could see that the cardboard was not going to work so we
had to rip off all the cardboard and started again. We then paper mached
the entire bodice.*

Kate Connerty:
We are entering junk Kouture this year and myself and my group have decided to make a dress out of teabags!! At first we had a stylish dress shape and were planning on sticking teabags onto it but then we decided to be original and make something a little more challenging. Our design is teabags for the top part so it looks like a normal dress but then for the bottom half instead of just having a normal dress we shaped a teapot shape into chicken wire and are in the process of covering it with wadding and newspaper. We are also going to paint the teabags on the teapot part to add emphasis! We have a colour each and we plan to arrange the three colours in some sort of a pattern over the teapot!  I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Aoibhinn Daly:
For my Junk Koture project in Transition Year I am in a group with Aisling and Kate, we are doing a Tea Pot theme for our dress. The top part of our dress is a bodice which is made of paper machete and covered in used tea bags, which are a brown colour. The bottom part of our dress is in the shape of a tea pot, this will be covered in painted tea bags of pink, blue and purple. We are also making a handle of the tea pot which will be covered in pink painted tea bags. We are making a hat which will look like the lid of a tea pot. We are going to make this out of cardboard and cover it with tea bags.
Kelsey Davis:
For my Junk Kouture Project, Me and Orla chose to use newspaper and L.E.D lights.
On the first day working on this project, we chose our concept and what materials we were going to use.I drew up the plan and started collecting paper at home. On the second day, we brought in our chicken wire, where we started shaping our outfit. I am going to be the model to show off our outfit so of course I had to shape the wire to my shape. Once we had it shaped ,I than started  the paper mache. This involved using P.V.A glue and newspaper in order for the paper to stick to the wire. This took quite a while to do because we needed a lot of newspaper and glue.
I than joined the bodice and bottom half of our dress together using some twine. Once that was done, I than had to use paper mache some more.
I now hope to start the head piece which will hopefully end up being a very large pink bow. This will be done using some chicken wire and newspaper aswell. This should take no longer than a week to complete and than I will work on the L.E.D lights in my own time at home J

Emma Marugliano:
I'm in a team with two other girls for my junk kouture project, Roisin and Juliet. The theme we've chosen  is chidlhood so we're going to make the dress out of toys and other things that represent childhood. So far we've made our corset out of chicken wire and paper mache. It took us a while to get the wire into the shape of Juliet, who is the model, and to layer the magazines with glue, but we're finally finished.
Once the corset had its shape,we stuck small toys onto it to make a detailed design . So far we've used bingo balls and these little shapes and things that I had when I was  baby, there is also jigsaw and lego on the corset,we still have more to do on the corset but I think It's coming along nicely. We had to get holes drilled into the side of our corset so that we can thread a ribbon through to hold it together.
We are now working on the skirt. Our first design was to make a round skirt and have more intricate designs on it, but after many attempts to make the right shape we decided to make our skirt out of old teddies and have a different shape. We are working on that now. Hopefully It'll turn out okay.

OUR REFLECTIONS:

So far doing Junk Kouture in Art and Home Ec, I have learnt an awful lot. It has been a very valuable project because I have learnt many new skills and had fun at the same time.

The most important thing in my opinion that I have learnt so far is working in a group. Working in the group is the most important because without this we wouldn’t have been able to complete the project. Within working in a team I learnt that you must listen to everyone and at times you may not get on but too leave it behind and don’t carry it outside the class. That resolving the conflict within the class is always best. I learnt that when the group worked together we got the most done.

The other things I learnt along the road was coming up with an idea and learning to develop and change it for the best. Carring through with an idea was another think I learnt. How to take a design from paper to an actual outfit. I learnt how to get things done within certain deadlines and stick to a plan.  I learnt how to gain information from others and use it in valuable way to improve and enhance the outfit. I also learnt how to make good use of my time.

I have learnt and gained a lot of new information and skills from working on Junk Kourture. I hope to gain even more before we finish!

Our overall the theme for our Junk Kouture outfit is communications .Newspapers, letters, yellow pages, stamps and keyboards are key elements in the making of our outfit. So far we have the corset style top finished, we made it using chicken wire and paper mache .I’m finishing off the hat which is made from cardboard covered in the yellow pages with a phone on top. Orla is working on the peplum style belt which is also made from exam papers covered in yellow pages. The peplum will go around the waist of the corset . We have started on the skirt which will be made from this silky, white material and will be covered in keys from computer keyboards.

 Blog entry 2:  Junk Kouture
We are alomost finished with Junk Kouture and I really have had a great time partaking in this project. I have found this experience great and have learned a lot from it too.
I think I am able to work better in a  group as I have developed listening skills , this is because I have listened to the ideas suggested by the other members in my group to make our idea better and I think by listening it has improved the standard of our outfit.
I think I developed more as a person throughout this experience as I am able to compromise more and express my own opinions which has helped me to work better with my group !. I think this experience has also helped me to work more efficiently and enjoy the experience more by my communication skills which I have developed more throughout this project.
This project has taught me a lot and I am really enjoying it!.

Junk Kouture - News flash: Kelsey+ Orla
Since my last blog, we have done a lot to our outfit. We have finished adding the strips of shredded paper onto the front of the dress, and some on the back , and we have also added the logos of different newspapers onto the bodice, to brighten the dress up. We have made a love-heart L.E.D light as well, which will be used for the bracelet. We have decided that our accessories are going to be a black colour, to bring out the black print on the bodice.
In the next few days, I hope to find some black recycled ribbon and some recycled White L.E.D lights that will be added to the front and back of the dress. I  also would like the shredded paper to be finished on the back of the outfit, within the next week. After that, We can focus on finishing touches and accessories and our bow for our head piece. From all of the Junk Kouture experience, I think I have learned that it takes a lot more time and effort to make a dress than I thought it would in the beginning, and there were a lot of things to be done in a short time. Hopefully when we are done, our dress will look more detailed and pretty than it does now. J
(From Lauren Begley)
My group for this project are myself, Fiona and Hazel. We are getting along great and i think we've made an excellent team so far! :) Our outfit originally started out as a lot of old newspapers, black and white bin bags, feathers off a pass students craft outfit that Ms Hughes gave us to take apart, an old underskirt from Hazels communion dress and some chicken wire! In the past 8 weeks we've been working so hard on it and its hard to believe that it started out as nothing but rubbish! The bodice is made from our chicken wire which we cut & bent into Hazels shape, and we covered it in newspaper paper machete:) we then covered it in some netting we found lying around (which we dyed black) and painted the bodice white so the black netting that is pinned over the white contrasts really well! :D We stuck the netting pieces on with thumbtacks and we have yet to find a way to press down the sharp points on the inside of the bodice! We plucked feathers off a black feather boa and taped them to the top of the bodice so they stick up and really add to making our bodice stand out! We're in the process of making the skirt now.. We cut out black& white bin bags in the shape of leaves and we're sewing them onto an underskirt from a communion dress using a sewing machine! We have a headpiece made also.. we stuck feathers along the sides of one of those fancy dress eye masks which adds drama to our outfit! We have to make our shoes soon as well as deciding on our music choice for the fashion show. We only have 5 weeks until the deadline but we're confident that we'll get it finished on time! :) There has been such a transformation in the past few weeks and we cant wait to see it all finished! :D

Blog 2:
I am currently involved in a project known as Junk Kouture. I am in a group with two other girls in my class. Our theme is tea party. We are using tea bags for our dress. I am really enjoying my experience, making our creation come to life. I have learnt a lot throughout this process and I am really enjoying the opportunity that I have been given. I have learnt how to paper machete, as our outfit mainly consists of a chicken wire and paper machete base. I had never done paper machete before and I am delighted to know say that I now do know how to paper machete. I have also learnt how to dissect tea bags. For our dress we had to cut open the tea bags and empty the tea leaves. We then had to leave them to dry out before painting them. We then painted the tea bags. Each of us had a different colour to paint our tea bags. I had never opened up a tea bag and I quickly discovered that it is a very messy and not the most pleasant smelling job. As the project went on I discovered that I was better off leaving the tea bags to dry before I painted the tea bags. This is because I saved more paint when they were dry as the paint spread easier. I also learnt, as I will continue to learn throughout this year, about how team work and its importance in large projects such as this one. I learnt that it is very important to share the amount of work out evenly. I am really enjoying my experience with this project as I am in a very good group and we all work very well together as a group as we get on very well with each other. I have also learnt about the amount of work and time that goes into making an outfit. I am really enjoying having the opportunity to make an outfit that I will be proudly able to say that I had a part in making this. I learnt a lot throughout this process and I am looking forward to seeing what more I will learn in the few weeks that I have left of the project. I am really enjoying this Junk Kouture project and I will be sad when it is finished.

Chanice Corcoran:
Personally I believe that I have learnt a lot from taking part in this Junk Kouture project . I have learned how to work well in a team and how to manage and organize a team. I am our team manager, so it is my job to make sure things run smoothly and everything is finished on time and to a reasonable standard. At the beginning of our task we had to collect all the recycled materials we needed for our project. I learned how to become more sufficient and punctual. I knew that if I didn't bring in our materials the whole team that were relying on me would be disappointed in me.I learned how to manage time and to plan ahead. We had to fill our our plan of what we had to complete in each class which made everything a lot easier. I had to divide tasks up between team members so that we all have equal amounts of work to do. We had to work efficiently and get everything completed because we were replying on one another.

Corrie Bowes:
During my time in Art doing Junk Koutre I have learnt many new things. One of the first things I learned when doing this project was the importance of team work. I never really had the opportunity of doing things in groups but I have learned that I can get on well with others. I also learned communication skills, as I constantly had to communicate with the other members of my group, my teachers and everyone else who helped us with our project, like asking for cardboard boxes from people outside of the school community. I think I was able to use and develop my co-operation skills during this project as I had to listen to the other members of my team and reach an arrangement that we all could agree on. I found this skill useful as I never really did much group work so I didn't know how others would react to my ideas or how I would like theirs. Another skill I learned was researching skills because I had to research stuff like how to make the skirt, this really benefited me as I learned so much doing this. I also learned how to let my more creative side shine through as we had to think outside the box for this project which I discovered I really enjoyed doing. I also learned lots of practical skills like how to paper mache and how to stick felt to a t-shirt would could come in handy when I am older and trying to hem my trousers! Overall doing this project I found help me develop and use new skills which I really enjoyed.

Fiona Crilly:

Through my Junk Kouture project I have learned many things. I have not only learned about  designing and making clothes I have also learned things that I can apply to all projects such as team work.
At the start of Junk Kouture I was not too sure on using a sewing machine, especially threading it. After sewing the bin bags onto my skirt I am a lot more confident on using the sewing machine.
I have learnt that there is a lot of planning before you begin anything. We had to plan our design and our materials very carefully and if we hadn’t our outfit would not be as the same standard as it is now.
I have also learnt the importance of team work. We all had to learn to compromise within my group as we all had a different vision of our outfit. However when we put each of our best ideas together we came up with good idea that we were all happy with.
I learnt that sometimes although you have made a plan the plan can sometimes change through the course of the project. This can be because of many reasons but you have to look for another way of doing it.
These are the things that I have learnt whilst doing my Junk Kouture project. I will take the things I have learnt and will apply them to all the projects I must complete in the future.
Sorcha Dolan:

Junk Kouture has been great so far. I have really enjoyed designing our dress and bringing our idea to life. It has been hard work because there are only two people in our group but I have enjoyed it.
While designing the dress I got to explore a lot of possible materials and had to decide which materials would be easier to work with and which materials would look the best when the dress when was finished.
At the start I was sceptical about whether we would get it done on time, but now with two weeks left the dress is starting to look better.
During the fourth and fifth week I was so sick of paper maché but it
has given our dress a really strong structure.
I feel I have learned a lot about how I work in group projects. I learned that I’m not very good at getting things done on time but at least I know that so I can work on it in the future.
Junk Kouture has also made me realise how much work you have to do in group projects especially if you have a smaller group.
Hopefully our dress will look good when it is finished!

Kate Connerty:
I have learned many things so far from designing and making my junk kouture project. I have learned that you can't rush anything to get it done on time because one way or another it will somehow fall apart or look messy or unprofessional. For example making the actual tea pot part of our dress, we thought we only had a certain amount of time to get it done and we were already way behind on schedule. So we made it out of paper mache on top of the chicken wire. I think its fair to say that it wasn't exactly evenly round but we kind of fooled ourselves saying that it was, just so that we would get it done on time. However one of the teachers brought us to our senses and showed us that we weren't fooling anybody. We then had to start the whole bottom part again this time using wadding to make it perfectly round. It showed us that for the rest of the project we may have to re-think a few things and fully think our ideas through.
Aisling Cunniffe:
What have I learned so far!
For me probably the most important thing I have learned is working in a group . I feel before TY I had never got the opportunity to do so but now I feel like my team work skills have improved due to Junk Koture. As a group you have to listen to each person's idea and I know that every single person is important no more than anyone else. I also learned how important communication skills are. That in order for a group to function everyone must communicate on things they feel want to be improved as a group and so forth. I also learned so far how important deadlines are to be met. That we as a group had to set goals and targets for us to reach in order to move on with our dress and now to fall behind in anyway. I feel this experience of Junk Koture is very beneficial and I hope to gain more skills along the way :)
Orla Sweeney:
First Week; We planned our outfit and cut out strips of black and white newspaper which we would later use for paper maché. I gathered the recycled newspaper from my grand-parents house as they had piles of newspapers they were about to throw away. My granddad also had some spare plastic chicken wire in his shed that we were allowed to use. We bent the chicken wire into shape for the bodice of the dress and stuck the newspaper onto it with PVA glue.
Week Two; We glued paper maché to the front and back of the bodice. We then covered the bodice in another three layers of newspaper to make sure it would not rip. However we had to make sure all the newspaper we used was black and white so that it would fit in with our colour theme.
Week Three; We shaped the bottom halves of our dress out of chicken wire and covered these halves with paper maché and then another three layers of newspaper so it would not tear. We then stuck the front top part and bottom part together and the back top part and bottom part together separately.
Emma Maru entry blog 2:
We have been doing junk kouture for a good few weeks now. I have learned alot from the experience so far.
One thing I have learned is to work in a group. We all had to contribute ideas and to express what our vision was for the end result. We’ve all had to let some ideas go and I understand that when we all keep brainstorming, we end up with a better result.
I have really enjoyed seeing the design on paper slowly become a real dress. It gives you a great sense of satisfaction and it inspires me to work hard at it. I really enjoyed designing the corset and being creative and imaginative.
This is the first time I have worked on a project like this. I have learned hoe to plan the design and work out how to structure it and make it into a real dress.
So far I am pretty proud of our work and I have gotton a lot out of this experience, I hope it continues like this.

Blog entry 2:
In my group, we have recently finished making our corset. We've tried
it on me, and it fits, and stays up!! Yaay! Thank goodness for that!
We are now at the point of having to work on our 4-5 week plan. Ohh.
Scary. This is really the first time in the project we've really felt
the impact of the deadline. Even though we're on-track, it certainly
feels a lot closer to the end! We are now having to make headway on
the skirt and the accsesories. Both touchy topics in the group. The
skirt won't look like what we hoped it would in the originsl plan, and
even though it still looks good. We're all a bit sad about it. And
there are some fierce discusdions in the group about accserories..but
at least we're all thinking along the same Lines...I think!!
Anyway. That is the update on my perspective on our Junk Kouture T.Y. Project.
By Juliette Barnes.
Róisín Byrne – November 12th
We are now well into our Junk Kouture projects. Our outfit is coming along well but there is still much to do. Working on this project has thought me many useful life skills. The obvious one is team-work. Working on the project in groups has made me learn patience and compromise. But most of all, it has thought me responsibility. Although we are in groups we also have to carry out individual tasks for the project. This means that we have work to the pace of the whole group and get our tasks done, so as not to let the team down. Working in groups on this project has also thought me to be more open-minded. When making decisions you must listen to all suggestions and put effort into making each of them work, even if it wasn’t your idea. This teaches you to be more open-minded and enthusiastic about new ideas. I think it was a good idea to make us do the projects because not only is our work-load less, but we learn so many new skills also.  Working on this Junk Kouture project has thought me how to transform something from being a basic design on a piece of paper to being a physical work of art. At first I struggled with getting our design to look good but also for it to be practical enough to make. This was hard because although we had so many great ideas on paper, we only had the resources and times to make a few of them.
While working on this project I have learnt new skills that I would have missed out on as I didn’t do Home ec for Junior Cert. While making the skirt for our outfit, I learnt how to sew up seams and how to sow on buttons. I also learnt the basics of using a sewing machine, though that still needs perfecting! Although I did Junior Cert art, the Junk Kouture project allowed me to use new materials and methods that I hadn’t had a chance to work with before. We used paper mache to make the base for the corset. We had to mould the chicken-wire to the shape of our model; it wasn’t easy to get the right shape.  Working on this project has thought me many new skills that I am sure I will find a way to use again. Although it is a challenging project, watching our skills improve and our outfits develop is very fulfilling. We have much to do yet but I can’t wait to see the finished product!
